COMPANY / RECORD 000

QUALIPUGNUS LATIN. FIST OF QUALITY.

CORPORATION / PRIVATELY HELD

Named for the property it is trying to build in rather than promise.

SCROLL TO RECORD

DISCIPLINE / 01

Keep the expensive thing busy. Fail into a known state.

QPG builds secure, deterministic computing from the silicon up. The chip, the machine that makes chips, and the models that run on them are the same design problem at three scales: never waste the resource the system depends on, and never fail in a way nobody planned for.

WASTE
A resource that is expensive to build should not sit idle, and should not be spent where it returns nothing.
FAILURE
Every system fails. The design question is whether it fails into a state someone chose in advance.
ENFORCEMENT
Both of those are properties to be built in, not policies to be followed.
ONE DISCIPLINE / THREE LAYERS

STRUCTURE / 02

QPG QUALIPUGNUS CORPORATION

Accountable to the mission.
Not to capital.

Qualipugnus Corporation is privately held. There are no external investors, and the company is structured as a mission-locked parent over independent subsidiaries — an arrangement that makes drift architecturally difficult rather than merely discouraged.

Each subsidiary carries its own surface. QPG AI resolves at ai.qpg.group. The others resolve when there is something behind them.

THE ARRANGEMENT / STATED PLAINLY
PARENT
Holds the mission rather than a portfolio. Its function is to constrain what the subsidiaries are permitted to become, not to allocate them against each other.
SUBSIDIARIES
Independent in execution, bound in purpose. Each owns its own surface, its own results and its own claim discipline; none of them owns the mission.
CAPITAL
None external. There is consequently no party whose return improves if the mission changes.

The shape is the enforcement. A mission held in a charter is a policy, and policies are followed until they are inconvenient; a mission held in a structure has to be dismantled before it can be abandoned, and dismantling is visible. This is the same argument the engineering rests on, applied to the company: build the property in rather than promise it. It is not a claim that drift is impossible. It is a claim that drift cannot happen quietly.

FOUNDER / NOTE

“Frankly, I don't understand how we manage to make So Much from So Little.”

MegaCrunch asks it of a model. Direct quantization answers badly — and the same bytes, retrained, do substantially better.
